Jason joined Chambers in 2018 after completion of pupillage with Mr. Walker Sham, Mr. Paul C. L. Leung, Mr. John Reading S.C., Mr. Randy Shek and Mr. M. K. Wong S.C.

Jason is developing a broad criminal and civil practice, with experience in areas such as homicide, sexual offences, white-collar crime, drug-related offences, immigration offences and traffic-related offences. On the civil side, Jason has experience in handling personal injuries and public law cases. He has appeared in different level of courts either as a led junior or the sole advocate or as counsel-on-fiat. He has also been instructed to attend legal visits at police stations and correctional services’ facilities.

HKSAR v Wang Yinan (HCMA 61/2019) Acted for the Appellant who was convicted of theft in the Magistracy (led by Mr. M.K. Wong S.C.)
HKSAR v Lee Ting Yat (HCCP 1033/2018) Successfully applied for bail pending sentence at the Court of First Instance. The Applicant was convicted of indecent assault and was remanded for reports.
HKSAR v Lee Tse Fung (HCCP 249/2020) Successfully applied for bail pending trial at the Court of First Instance. The Applicant was charged with false imprisonment and blackmail.
HKSAR v Yu Lai Kuen & Ors (DCCC 274/2018) Acted for the 1st Defendant who was charged with money laundering. The 1st Defendant was acquitted. (led by Miss Amanda Lee)
HKSAR v Cho Lok Him & Ors (DCCC 691/2020) Acted for the 3rd Defendant who was charged with false imprisonment and blackmail. The Judge ruled no case to answer. (led by Mr. Alex Ng)
HKSAR v Ho Ming-hin & Ors (DCCC 280/2021) Acted as the junior counsel-on-fiat in a trial of unlawful assembly and Anti-mask law. (led by Mr. Hui Chun-sing)
HKSAR v Ho Fu (STCC 2817/2018) Acted for the Defendant who was charged with being an employer of a person who is not lawfully employable, acquitted.
HKSAR v Siao Chi Yung Weslie & Ors (WKCC 2550/2018) Acted for the 2nd Defendant who was charged with conspiracy to misconduct in public office by disclosing public examination questions to a private tutor as an invigilator. (led by Miss Amanda Li)
HKSAR v Lee Kwok Fai (KCS 511136/2020) Acted for the Defendant who was charged with Dangerous Driving. The Magistrate convicted the Defendant of Careless Driving after trial.
HKSAR v Wong Tak Lung (STCC 2709/2021) Acted for the Defendant who was charged with selling goods to which a forged trade mark was applied and possession for sale or for any purpose of trade or manufacture goods to which a forged trade mark was applied. The Defendant was acquitted of all charges after trial.
HKSAR v Fan Ming Long & Ors (TMCC 78/2022) Acted for the first Defendant who was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in an alleged 5 against 1 assault. The Defendant was acquitted.
